EoFTTC - Ethernet over Fibre To The Cabinet
EoFTTC - Ethernet over Fibre To The Cabinet is a superfast internet connection consisting of Fibre internet cable run and copper ethernet cable run. Instead of the fibre cable run to terminate directly at your premises as in the case of FTTP (Fibre To The Premises), the EoFTTC utilizes an Ethernet connection from the Fibre Termination Cabinet closest to your location, to your premises - finishing off the fibre cable run with an Ethernet RJ-45 directly connected to your Customer Premises Equipment (CPE).
With EoFTTC the internet connection is symmetrical with equal download and upload speeds which is dedicated and uncontended - Its always there whenever you need it.

Virtual Private LAN Services (VPLS)
Virtual Private LAN Services (VPLS) is one of the most popular Layer 2 services out there for businesses with multiple locations that need communication across each site.
If you want to leverage the capability and flexibilty of your Local Area Network over a Wide Area Network, then look no further.
With VPLS Solution, pseudowires are created at the end points to facilitate the trasmission of packets from one remote site to another - The packets are encapsulated at the Provider Edge (PE) routers in an ISP VLAN as it travels across the network. When it reaches the remote site, the provider edge routers de-encapsulate the packet and are further transmitted to the customer's Local Area Network. Network Administrators are able to define their prefered routing protocols and IP addressing schemes for the private network bringing it under one administrative control. With VPLS network solution, remote sites or geographically disparsed offices are brought together as if they were connected together at the same location when in fact they are no where near each other.
